A core mission of our foundation is collecting donations—both monetary and gently used medical equipment—to help individuals who need it most.

We’re beyond excited to share that we’ve just donated our first pieces of medical equipment to Special Tree NeuroCare Center in Romulus, Michigan—a place close to our hearts, as our founder, Max, spent eight months there during his recovery journey.

When life changed in an instant, I found a new purpose.

After my dirt bike accident left me with a traumatic brain injury, 30+ surgeries, and a completely new life path, I knew I had to transform my pain into something positive.

Since my accident, I have had opportunities to speak to groups both large and small about resilience, hope, and the importance of not taking life for granted.

Whether I’m in front of 5 people or 500, if just one person walks away with a new understanding of TBIs, I’ve accomplished my mission.

TBIs affect millions, yet remain largely misunderstood. The cognitive challenges, sensory overwhelm, and emotional battles aren’t visible from the outside, but they reshape everything about how we navigate the world.

That’s why I founded @themcmfoundation—to ensure no TBI survivor fights alone. Because recovery shouldn’t depend on having exceptional insurance or access to resources that many don’t have.

From coma to community builder. From patient to advocate. This wasn’t the journey I chose, but it’s become the mission that drives me every day.
