Swinging for a Cause: Highlights from the 2025 MCM Brain Injury Foundation Golf Outing
On Monday, August 25, 2025, the beautiful Tanglewood Golf Club became the backdrop for an inspiring day of community, camaraderie, and giving back. The MCM Brain Injury Foundation Golf Outing brought together 112 golfers and dozens of supporters who joined in for lunch and the silent auction, making this year’s event a resounding success.
Community & Participation
The turnout was incredible, reflecting the generosity and spirit of our community. Friends, family, and supporters came together not only to enjoy a day on the green but also to make a real difference in the lives of traumatic brain injury (TBI) survivors.
Sponsors & Support
This event wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing support of our sponsors and donors. Their generosity provided the foundation for a meaningful event, allowing us to focus on what truly matters — raising funds to support TBI survivors and their families.
Event Highlights
The day was packed with fun and excitement:
- A lively shotgun start kicked off the golf portion of the day.
- Golfers enjoyed hot dogs and chips at the turn, keeping energy levels high.
- The event concluded with an awards luncheon and silent auction, offering a chance to celebrate accomplishments, connect with friends, and support the cause further.
Candid moments, group foursome photos, and sponsor banners captured the energy and spirit of the day, reflecting the incredible effort and joy that went into every part of the outing.
Making an Impact
Beyond the fun, the outing had a real and lasting impact. Funds raised will directly support TBI survivors by providing financial assistance for therapy, medical bills, transportation, and essential resources that promote independence and recovery. Each contribution brings hope, healing, and opportunity to those navigating life after brain injury.
Special Thanks
A heartfelt thank you goes out to our volunteers, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the day ran smoothly. Their dedication made it all possible and is a true testament to the spirit of giving that defines the MCM Brain Injury Foundation community.
This golf outing was more than a fundraiser; it was a celebration of community, compassion, and commitment. Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, or volunteered — together, we are making a difference in the lives of TBI survivors.
